WELCOME
Naturally Balanced Farms is an ever growing, ever changing, family owned farm. We started with just a small garden and 6 chickens before moving to our little diamond in the desert where we now have a small garden, chickens, domestic quail, a few turkey's, some ducks, Rabbits, a small herd of mini goats, a couple full size goats, a few peacocks and a couple of horses including our therapy horse in training. Everyone including the animals has a job, so no free loading here. Eggs are our main focus but you can always find much more going on around here. You never know what fun you'll find! When making products if we can't or don't grow the ingredients ourselves we look for the most local farm source available. As a Nutritional Consultant, Lifestyle Coach & Aromatherapist I am committed and passionate about educating and helping others achieve total balance in their health and spirit. I work hard to integrate this in our farming.
We welcome farm tours by appointment.
We also offer an assortment of classes including: How to milk your goat, hoof trimming, and disbudding/dehorning, responsible animal husbandry, Soap and natural body product manufacturing. Starting a farm on little to no money. Self esteem and positive image building with our therapy animals. Plus so much more!
Internships are currently being considered.
Can't make it to the farm? That's ok you can catch us at the Farmer's Market at Tractor Supply in Alamogordo, NM on Saturday mornings all year long!
